< birthday boy >

This little guy just turned one this week, and his parents contacted me about taking his 1 year pictures along with some family pictures. He was honestly the happiest smiley little guy I've EVER seen! He was so happy! And sheesh, this family really knows how to have fun together. It was so easy to take pictures of them. There was no way you could fake this kind of love. Thanks so much for letting me take your pictures. Your family is the reason why I do this stuff. I had the best time!

< swing set >

My baby girl loves the swings. Can't seem to get enough. And she loves to watch people. So it was a perfect day to go out with her grandma and grandpa to the park while they were here. I just love those simple but wonderful days.

< gramma and grampa >

My husband's parents came to visit us all the way from Utah, so I had a mini b&w photo shoot with them. I know my mother-in-law is a little camera-shy, but she is really stunning. And I think these pictures capture how much they really love their grand daughter. I know she'll always know that they love her.

And during out photo shoot outside, our poor dog was watching us from the window. Boy, this little guy sure loved having grandma and grandpa here!

Ok, so I absolutely love this picture. My father-in-law is so cool. He's always singing songs to himself. All of these old, classic songs that I've never heard before. And my daughter thought he was SO hilarious! They got along really well, that's for sure.

< chicago lds temple grounds >

On Saturday, I was at the Chicago LDS Temple. It was such a beautiful day, so I had to take some pictures of the beautiful scene surrounding me. I really love spring.

< chicago >

We took a trip up to Chicago yesterday for a special event in our friends' lives. On our way home, I decided to try and shoot some cool photos of what I saw on the sides of the toll road. There's something so strangely beautiful about gross old unkempt buildings.

There's nothing like a gramma and her grandbaby.

< senior year >

On Thursday of last week, I had the chance to photograph this gorgeous senior. She is really an outstanding girl, and we had a lot of fun wandering down town and taking some photos. Hope you like them!

p.s. Can you believe this girl's eyes? They are AMAZING! Really, I couldn't stop looking at them!
