< boys >

I loved photographing this family. They (other than gorgeous mom) are ALL BOY. I felt like I was constantly chasing people to get a good shot, but it was so worth it. And in the middle of our session, dad pulled out some baseball gloves and tossed around a ball with the big boys. There was something so picturesque about the perfect Fall sun beaming down on them as they played.

Thank you so much. You guys were so much fun to work with.

< play >

In discussing our upcoming session, this beautiful mom suggested my new favorite location. When I pulled up in my car to take a look around, I knew I was going to have a really refreshing, creative, and fun day. And I was absolutely right. This family came ready to play and have fun, and really enjoy each other. And without trying to embarrass the parents too much, it was apparent to me where all of this happiness comes from. They adore each other, and it really showed. And was so naturally translated into their adorable little boys.

Thank you so much for a fabulous day. I learned so much from you.

< growing up >

It's always my favorite thing watching kids grow up and having the privilege of documenting that progression. I got to photograph this family when their little baby boy was just a teeny newborn, and now, here we are in Autumn, and this baby is such a big boy. But the same, sweet, happy little boy.

Thanks for the fun times! I LOVE your family.

< that hair >

Remember this girl? She is just growing up, and it is killing me. So adorable! And can you believe that hair? And you know what? Her personality is even more vibrant and adorable than her appearance. I love this girl. So glad she's a part of my life.

< sweet, sweet >

This little boy was as sweet as they come. Seriously, no fussing, no crying. And I like to let a newborn kind of move around as they would naturally, so I do minimal posing. Just enough to start them off in a certain position and I love to watch what they do with that. But this boy didn't move. He stayed there and stared at me with his beautiful big eyes like it was the most comfortable thing in the world. I had so much fun!

What a beautiful family. Congratulations!
