< i love fall >

I needed some family pictures for my BYU Singers alumni newsletter, and I realized it had been a year (since our last newsletter ...) since our last real family pictures. I'm so glad to have a good reason to take some! I loved how they turned out, too. These were actually taken in our front yard, if you can believe it. I love that we're surrounded by trees and this time of year, the ground is completely covered in yellow leaves. I LOVE the fall!
Of course after we took some family pictures, I had to get back behind the camera and shoot some of my cute family without me.

< pumpkin patch >

This little boy has changed so much since the the last time I shot pictures of just him. He's a big boy now, and plays and giggles and has fun. We had so much fun at the pumpkin patch today. I have so many more pictures, but I had to post these right away!

< fall >

I met with a family to take some fall photos (pictures to come) at a really fun pumpkin patch. They had all sorts of varieties and lots of gorgeous gourds and corn, too. And of course a lot of straw. I love photographing the coarse texture of straw!

< i just love the window >

And so does my little girl. I just love the gorgeous natural light and she loves to watch the outside world. Not so safe so I don't let her do it too often, but it's too fun for her, I can't resist letting her play. And it's so fun photographing her. Belly hanging out and all. Ah, she is so amazingly beautiful! I love this kid.

< little girl's best friend >

When one of my nephews was about 15 months old, my sister took a super cute picture of him in his birthday suit, standing next to his beloved dog, staring out the window together. I had to try to recreate it with my little girl and our dog. She loves this dog so much and they have fun together. I left her diaper on, though:)

< fairy tale >

On days like today, I am reminded how good I have it. And I don't mean just the fact that right outside my door I have this beautiful scenery to take pictures of my beautiful girl. There's a lot more than that. But that's one good thing I have for sure:)

< the beauty of bonneyville mill >

One of my favorite places to take pictures is a beautiful park area called Bonneyville Mill. It has a bunch of red barns and lots of woodsy spots and grassy areas, a little creek, a mini waterfall, and so much more. It's so great because I can get a bunch of different shots without having to cart a bunch of tired kids from place to place. This last time I went to take some pictures of one of my favorite families, they had these gorgeous flowers, and I just had to share them. I only took a few of the hundreds there, though. They really were this vibrant and intense. It was amazing.

< so much fun! >

I loved taking pictures of this family! They have so much fun together. They just love to play together and laugh, which makes my job way easier. Such a cute family!

< sneak peek >

I got to take pictures of this beautiful family over the weekend. They were so much fun! I was so impressed with how cooperative these kids were. You could definitely tell they were very accustomed to having a camera in their face. Way to go, mom! Here are a few sneak peeks from our session. I'll have some more later, but I couldn't wait to share some right away.
